I love a party! In particular, I do so enjoy hosting them and so I’m thinking, while Erika is busy planning her upcoming book launch, I could be doing the same thing!
We’re all so excited – Lizzie, Sally-Jo, Andie, Stephanie, Bob, Jacob and me! – that our second outing is soon to appear on the bookshelves. Read and Buried comes out at the beginning of Dec. – just in time for Christmas giving, I say – and we can’t wait to see what kind of adventures are in store for us.
I know there’s a visiting author who gets murdered. Just desserts, some may say. But since it happens in Lizzie’s house, that means trouble all around. I’m certain we’ll all be able to sort it out at some point. But I’m sure hoping nobody else gets hurt while we’re at it.
But, back to the party. I have decided – yes, just in the space of these few paragraphs – that I will host a launch for Read and Buried, the second in the Ashton Corners Book Club mysteries, and I’m inviting all our friends! That’s all the good folks in Ashton Corners plus all our Threadville friends. And, Charlotte Bessette, Sophie Winston, Jaymie Leighton, Casey Calhoun, Lila Wilkins, Hayley Snow, Lindsey Norris, Nell Pratt, Charlie Harris, Rita Lucero, Charlotte Adams, Olivia Greyson…oh, my the list seems endless and I’ve got so many more wonderful characters to add to it!
Y’all know my place – the big, white antebellum place down on Ulysses Street. We’ll be sure to have something real tasty...and sweet tea and wine.
