All You Need is Fudge by Allie McMurphy

Hi all, Allie here. Author Nancy Coco has really gotten me into a pickle this time.

I'm out walking Mal and thinking about getting donuts when my puppy makes a fuss about something in the water. I swear that pup has a nose for murder. Well, I see a young woman in the water and jump in to help her. It isn't until I've pulled her to shore that I truly understand that she is dead.

So I start my day with a call to Charlene, the 9-1-1 operator. No one is surprised when I tell her why I called. It's only a matter of time before the Mackinac Island authorities are at the marina with me investigating.

So much for bringing Frances the donuts she loves.

Mal, of course, comes out of the episode perfectly dry and happy to see everyone working on another case. This one involves the yacht club set which includes my boyfriend's family.
The waters get rough in my relationship with Trent when his sister, Paige becomes suspect number one.

Mackinac Island sponsors a few yacht races a year, including the great yacht race from Chicago to the island. It's a great place to vacation spot if you love water and boats.

LOVE, love, camping at Moonshine Park. Not an RV park. But real camping grounds. (to me any way. tent, sleeping bags kind) I take my crawdaddy pots, catch steelhead, inner tube down the creek. The first time we went there in the 70's my son was 4. Was pointing out the constellations. When I showed him the Cassiopeia constellation he got all excited. "Our name is up there!" I have a few special places to vacation. I love going up to Cape Cod or Newport (RI). I love the beaches and the house tours, along with just relaxing by the hotel pool. I wouldn't mind owning a home close to Colonial Williamsburg either. Of course the fact that I have major summer allergies would mean I'd only visit in the cooler seasons.

I love this series! I can picture Mackinac Island when I read these books. Since I'm originally from Michigan, Mackinac Island is one of my favorite vacation spots. Someday, I want to stay at the "Grand" when I go to the Island. Charleston SC is also a favorite vacation destination of mine. Can't wait to read! Thanks for the giveaway.

One of our favorite vacation spots is Ft. Myers Beach Florida . We take out two shih tzu and stay a place called Casa Playa. And they are beach front condos and they take dogs. As a matter of fact they kind of carter to the dogs. We love it there. White sand, Florida sunsets and my hubby and my two furry babies... can't get any better then that.

We don't have the funds to go anywhere for vacation. Being retired beats going to work through. I would love to spend some time in Washington D.C. visiting museums and monuments. Or take the train across Canada.

My favorite vacation spot is my own back porch. I enjoy reading a good book while watching the butterflies land on my butterfly bushes. I have all the comforts of home and I can enjoy my family when they visit.

My fav vacation spot would be where i formally lived which is SF. I loved going there when i lived 20 min from there every Sat night we would go to the wharf and walk around and eat. Now I love going there when I can get there to visit family and friends I just love the people and everything about it.Even though I now have to take my scooter it still seems the same and people are so nice to help alot of places aren';t. Can't wait to see everyone it has been a few years since I have been there and that is another thing I like it is always changing Sf never stays the same but the Golden Gate bridge and even that has increased in tolls etc.
