Honeymoon Hi-jinks

Seriously, what female doesn't plan out her wedding for years on end. I mean, growing up I played with Barbies like my peers and I pretended she got married to Ken. Of course I planned Barbie's wedding exactly like I wanted my wedding when I grew up.

Well. . .now that I recently got married and it ended up being nothing like I had dreamed or even planned, I just knew the honeymoon was going to be amazing. The best!

What girl doesn't dream of that amazing honeymoon with her groom next to her. The long walks on the beach, staring into your man's eyes, him feeding you off his spoon and letting him rub sunscreen all over you was exactly the way I pictured my honeymoon to my sweet groom Oscar Park.
After all, we were in much need of a vacation. We hadn't been out of Whispering Falls since we had moved in after we found out we were witches. Oscar is a wizard and I'm a potion maker with an amazing intuition. It's hard to leave our little magical village of Whispering Falls in the foothills of Kentucky.

Oscar and I were able to put in a request on where we'd like to go. I picked Hawaii because I'd never been there and Oscar choose anywhere in the Caribbean. Both were good because I loved the beach and it was far away from our village and I was leaving Mr. Prince Charming, my ornery cat familiar, and Madame Torres, my snarky crystal ball, at home. It was going to be blissful.

Unfortunately, bad luck seems to follow me and the Order of Elders deemed it necessary to pick where Oscar and I went on our honeymoon. Tulip Island. Where the heck was that?

Not only is it way far away in the middle of the ocean, there are only twenty visitors allowed on the island at one time, which the Elders tell me help my chances on nothing bad happening to me.

Well. . .everything was going great on Tulip Island. It was beautiful and actually the prettiest place I'd ever seen. . . then. . .one of the other guest washed up on the beach dead, really did put a crimp in my honeymoon.

  7. What a great review. Thank you. I lived it.
My husband and I had a morning wedding and reception. Everyone was gone by two so a bunch of us hopped on in the cars and went to a Tiger game.
A lot safer than a trip to Tulip Island.

  14. Our honeymoon trip was delayed for 3 1/2 months due to work schedule and probably wasn't what we would have liked since we only had a week. We went to Colorado and covered a lot of territory in that short span of time. Not a good way to see Colorado. [email protected]

Our honeymoon was a nightmare. Lol. We got a room in Gatlinburg. The car broke down on the way there, and when we finally got there the room was a dump. We didn't even stay the whole weekend that we had booked.
