We are in the middle of planning another retreat! After our wildcrafting retreat in the spring, and our beach retreat this coming summer, we're going to host a very special retreat. It's just for moms who have spent the entire summers at home with their children. We might do this every year at our craft retreat. Indigo Gap is such a lovely, relaxing quaint town. With its crafty shops, sweet boutiques, and historic facades, surrounded by the breathtaking mountains, it's the perfect place to unwind.
So because I've just booked a beading expert for our "Mom's Weekend," I thought I'd do a little research about beading.
Here’s some of the books I’ve been reading:

- Quick and Clever Beading by Dorothy Wood
- Beads: An Exploration of Bead Traditions Around the World by Janet Coles and Robert Budwig
- The Beaded Home by Katharine Duncan Aimone
While I'm recommending books, I also highly recommend this book and blog if you’re interested in crafting for healing and therapy. (You know, crafting is my beat and I LOVE to pass wonderful things on to you!)
