By Bella, of Tracy Weber's Downward Dog Mystery Series
What kind of crappy beach vacation is this? When Kate told me we were going to Cannon Beach, Oregon, I was so excited. What could be better than frolicking in the sand with your human pack? Then we got here, and nothing has been like I thought it would.
My two humans are separated. They don’t yell at each other, but they don’t get near each other very much, either. Michael isn’t even staying in the same house with Kate and me. Every adventure turns out differently than I thought. Kate and I went to the beach. I found a body. Rather than digging in the sand, chasing sticks, and swimming, I got tied to an ambulance while Kate talked to the police. Then we went to
this really cool dog toy store, and rather than letting me eat all of the cookies, Kate got distracted talking to a witness. I didn’t even get to properly meet the kitten in the hair salon!
It’s enough to make a GSD like me really cranky. All I have to say is Kate and Michael had better get this murder solved and their relationship issues worked out soon. I understand there’s a sand castle contest in town, and I want to see it!

The first chapter made me want to read the rest of the book. It’s still on order at the library.

Say it isn't so....I can't believe Michael and Kate are on the outs. Granted Kate has a little bit of a hot temper for a yoga instructor but usually if anyone can corral it, it is Michael. Having read previous books in this series, this makes me hungry for more. robeader53(at)yahoo(dot)com

Interesting opening! I like romances that have some uncertainty.
ReplyI am shocked after reading this for I can’t believe Michael is already married! How could he not have already told Kate? I can’t image how Kate is feeling about this. But I have to say I am hooked and I want to read this book to find out what happens. Thank you for the giveaway.
ReplyChapter one of Pre-Meditated Murder left me with my mouth wide open going OMG! I can't imagine but at the same time I can't wait to read more. There has to be way more to the story.
ReplyAlso love the way the GSD asked the question "What Kind of Vacation is This?" above. What a wonderful perspective! :)
Thanks for this tantalizing chapter that just leaves me wanting more and more as well as the awesome chance to win a copy of the book!

ReplyI guess I’m way behind in this series. I guess I’ll have to get on over to the library and reserve a few! Thanks for including yoga in your book. Love yoga...and dogs. Sorry about Bella’s digestive issues. She’s a sweetie.
ReplySounded great...thank you for the chance.
