I can’t say I’m at all sorry my colleague’s dead. Frankly, I’d like to dance on his grave. I would have happily killed him myself if I could have figured out a way to get away with it. He deserved that and more. He’s made my professional life a living hell for years -- letting me know he knew all about my past but . . . out of professional courtesy . . . he wasn’t going to say a word.
That’s rich! He doesn’t have to say a word. Just letting me know he held that power over me was enough to make me sweat and squirm and he enjoyed it watching it. That’s what he was all about – power! Power over others.

I’m just praying my past scandals don’t come to light. The cops would have a field day. They’d know I had a very good motive to kill that bastard.
Talk about a bad Monday!
