Do you guys like those Throwback Thursdays that come up on social media? Sometimes I do, and sometimes I don't. For example, sometimes I'm reminded of things that I'd rather forget...like these "Plaid Stallions."But sometimes, I get thrown back to fun memories, like the first time I attended the Oklahoma State Sugar Arts Show in Tulsa. My author friend Gayle Trent was there, too. As you can see from the photo on the left, we hit it off, and she wrote up some of my adventures...or misadventures.
This year Kerry Vincent and the wonderful cake artists who come from all over the world to attend the show will celebrate its 25th Anniversary. Check out the OSSAS page and make plans to attend if you can--you won't be disappointed.

Can't think of a cake I don't like. :) I'd have to say coconut for my Mom's fresh grated coconut cake or cinnamon for the Hungarian cake I always asked for on my birthday. I know that's two but it's as close to narrowing them down as I can get. Unless I can say cheese because I love all flavors of cheesecake. :)

ReplyJust this week I had to grab a couple boxes of "limited edition" cake mix at the grocery. One was Banana Split and the other Mint Chocolate Chip.
