The day I hitched a ride with a tourist headed for the Texas Hill Country was the luckiest day of my life. Granted, I’m a cat, and cats have a different perspective on things than you humans – but if you haven’t ever visited, you should. In the old David Letterman tradition (I’ve seen reruns), I’ll tell you my ten favorite things about my life in the Texas Hill Country:

5.     Watching people tubing down the river

7.     Crunchy tuna treats

8.     Playing with Luke Griffin’s dog Angie

10.Helping Sabrina solve mysteries

    Summer is my favorite season. I love the bright blue skies, never ending sun and the soothing warmth. My favorite activity is going for evening walks since it is light out until late and the walks are unforgettable. elliotbencan(at)hotmail(dot)com

    I’m right there with Hitchcock— naps are pretty wonderful, but that’s any time of year. For summer specifically I have to say backyard barbecues with friends (so long as there’s shade and a light breeze). Thanks for chatting with us Hitchcock and for the opportunity. Rbehling1916atyahoodotcom

    This summer it has been sitting in my air-conditioned house, reading texts from my Texas friend whose reports on temperatures there make me feel that much cooler. The dog, however, finds it necessary to have her paws and snout on the floor vent.
