Tis the Season to Cozy Up with a Good Book

By Elizabeth “Biz” Adams
From Peg Cochran’s Murder, She Reported Series

What books are you cozying up with this winter?  I’m reading a wonderful book called Rebecca by Daphne DuMaurier.  It just came out, and I can’t put it down.  Right now it’s snowing out—it’s almost five o’clock but I can see the flakes as they drift past the streetlights.  It’s accumulating on the sidewalk, too.  People are scurrying home from work all bundled up against the cold.

I feel lucky to already be home—warm and snug with a cup of hot cocoa that Mrs. Murphy made for me.  I can smell dinner cooking in the kitchen—I fear I will soon have to put my book down and join everyone in the dining room.

Do you have a favorite book to read when it’s cold, windy and snowy out?  Leave your answer below to be entered to win an  e-book copy of Murder, She Reported!

And merry, merry season’s readings to you!

  1. This week I have started my annual reading of Christmas mysteries. Some old favourites and some very new ones! I do put them down long enough to work on Christmas presents and take my dog out though!
Thank you for the book giveaway.
