A conversation between Quincy and Nigel
Quincy is from the FAT CAT series by Janet Cantrell
Nigel will be in the Vintage Sweets series by Kaye George

GIVEAWAY BELOW
Quincy: They call ME the Fat Cat, but look at you. You have me beat.
Nigel: Fat Cat eh? You might be fat, I’m just big. I’m a Maine Coon cat.
Quincy: I know, you’ve said that before. But what’s the deal? Are you supposed to live in Maine? I think that’s not around here.
Nigel: Where’s here? You live in Minnesota. I live in Texas. So, no, Maine is not around here. I’m just a big breed of cat. We’re the oldest cat breed in this country, I’ll have you know. What breed are you?
Quincy: I’m a tabby and proud of it.
Nigel, flicking his tail: I don’t think “tabby” is a breed.
Quincy, licking his whiskers: Whatever.
Both cats hear a call to din-din and disappear. Quincy has retired after working hard in 3 Fat Cat mysteries. Nigel will pounce upon the scene in 2020 in the Vintage Sweets series.
This is Kaye George, the author for both cats. I’d love to give you the first Fat Cat book, FAT CAT AT LARGE, and also a couple boxes of Moon Pies. They aren’t the homemade ones that will appear in REVENGE IS SWEET, but they’ll have to do for now. Please leave a comment and be sure to include your email address, and I’ll pick a winner at the end of Thursday, the 6th, midnight EST.

Christmas is the best time of the year. Thank you for the chance.

Really loved the Fat Cat series, Quincy reminded me of a cat I'd had in my youth who had an appetite that wouldn't quit. Looking forward to Nigel and Vintage Sweets. Maine Coons are a handsome breed, but Tabbies look quite dapper. kimmwrtr (at) yahoo (dot) com

Ohhh I love Moon Pies! Thanks for an awesome giveaway! Tari H. barbie17(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyI would love a chance to read the Fat Cat series. I must confess, nearly ALL the cats we have had the privilege to be "servants" to ( cats in the room, didn't dare use the word "owned"), have sooner or later become Fat Cats. Oh dear, we are not the best of kitty parents, I fear. As for Moon Pies, I have never tasted them, but frequently hear of them.
