from the Castle Bokshop Mysteries by Essie Lang
So, here’s the deal, in a mere six days, I’ll be on the shelves on
your local bookstore! Release day is March 13th for the first Castle Bookshop Mystery, Trouble on the Books, and I along with all the other characters, are holding our collective breath, waiting for the reaction from readers.
My author Essie Lang, in the meantime, has her head buried in finishing off the second book in the series. So, it’s up to the gang -- my aunt Edie; my best bud Erika Bryant; her mom Trudy; Matthew Kessler, the caretaker of both the castle island and my aunt’s heart, apparently; and the guy who seems to be affecting my heartbeat, CGIS agent Zack Griffin – to brave through these last few days.
I’m really anxious to introduce the awesome Blye Castle which you’ll find on Blye Island in the Thousand Islands. That’s where I’m managing our seasonal bookstore, Bayside Books, while Edie reigns over the main store in Alexandria Bay, NY. It’s really too bad that the day before the spring tourist grand opening, a body is found in the Grotto on the island.
Even worse, I’d had words with the deceased Loreena Swan, the former volunteer coordinator in the castle, that same day her body is found. But I’m not the only one of Police Chief Thelma Stone’s suspect list.
I’m dying to tell you, so to speak, how it turns out because I do get involved in sleuthing, something totally new to me. But that would ruin the surprise.
You really don’t want to know ahead of time, do you? Or do you try to outwit the author and come up with the murderer before the end of the book?
Leave your comment before Friday at 6 PM EDT, and Essie will draw for a winner of a Kindle e-Book copy of Trouble on the Books!
