for the Domestic Diva Mysteries

Old Town is engaged in Pie Mania! It's the weekend of the Pie Festival and everything seems to be about pies right now. My next door neighbor and best friend, Nina Reid Norwood, and our favorite beat cop, Officer Wong, and I all just took a pie baking class from Old Town's most popular pie baker. You have to sign up in advance to get one of his pies for Thanksgiving or Christmas! He's fantastic.
Our pal Bernie is in charge of the pie contest this year. Unfortunately, Natasha has been banned due to the chaos she caused last year. She's in a complete snit because she thinks she should be judging the pie baking contest.
But Bernie went for the best and is bringing in everyone's favorite cook, Patsy Lee Presley! I'm sure you've seen her TV show. It's like having your favorite aunt come for a visit. The thing is that last night when I was walking Daisy in the dark, someone crashed through some bushes and suddenly we were face to face. I could swear it was Patsy Lee. She took off running in a panic. I'm worried because whoever that woman was, she's in some kind of trouble!
