NOT ONE BUT TWO BLACK CATS

NOT ONE BUT TWO BLACK CATS - BOOK GIVEAWAY

By Hitchcock, of the Bad Luck Cat Mysteries by Kay Finch

I used to roam the Texas Hill Country by myself with no one to answer to. I thought I had a good life, but I didn’t know what good was until the day I met Sabrina Tate and she took me in. Sabrina’s a mystery writer, and she’s happy when I sit nearby in her little cottage while she writes. She says my presence improves the suspense in her writing, and that’s why she named me Hitchcock – after some guy I’d never heard of before. Sabrina's friend Tyanne says her writing is so good it sparkles.

Living with Sabrina, I never have to worry about having a roof over my head or food to eat.  She buys me some pretty tasty fish-flavored treats, too. Knowing all this, maybe you can understand why I wasn’t too happy to share my space with any other cat. Then here comes Merlin, who is not only a cat but a black cat as well. People can barely tell the difference between us. Even more amazing is the fact that Merlin’s owner, Tia Hartwell, looks like Sabrina. Can you imagine anything more bizarre? The arrival of this look-alike woman and her black-cat shadow starts a ball rolling and turns into a pretty dangerous situation for Sabrina and me. We were lucky to get out alive.

Of course, a murder was involved. The man killed caused nothing but trouble for Tia, her little boy Damon, and Merlin. Of course, the authorities suspected Tia was involved in his death. It’s hard to say who was more curious – the cat or the little boy – but I’m sure glad everyone survived and the perpetrator is now behind bars.

GIVEAWAY - Joining in the June book giveaway month here at Killer Characters, I’m giving away NOT ONE BUT TWO of the Bad Luck Cat Mysteries - winner's choice. To enter the contest, leave a comment including your e-mail address in your comment, and tell me which two books you'd prefer to win. I’ll pick a random winner at noon tomorrow. Good luck!
