Of: The Bad Luck Cat Mysteries

I’m one of the most well-known guys in Lavender, Texas seeing as I own Hot Stuff, the local Coffee Shop. I serve the regulars who show up every morning, the tourists who need a pick-me-up during a tough day of shopping, and those who simply like to stop in to catch up on the latest gossip. Or to hear the seventies disco music I play. Now that we’re in the swing of Christmas time, I’m branching out into other eras. I’m not too fond of the seventies holiday tune “Please, Daddy (Don’t Get Drunk This Christmas),” but I love “Merry Christmas Darling.” Of course, I always enjoy playing “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”
Our local writer, Sabrina Tate, came up with a new chorus for “The Twelve Days of a Christmas in Lavender” that goes like this:

11 Strands of Lights
10 Gingerbread Cookies
9 Candy Canes
8 Tourist Buses
7 Gift Baskets
6 Poinsettias
5 Eggnog Lattes
4 Shopping Trips
3 Wise Men
2 Santa Sightings
AND A BLACK CAT WHOSE NAME IS HITCHCOCK!

Tim Horton's used to have a wonderful hot apple cider that I would get...but, alas, no more. I enjoy a little egg nog and hot chocolate with marshmallows and a mini candy cane. For the most part, I keep drinking my champagne!

My favorite Christmas beverage is a toss up between hot spiced apple cider and cold eggnog. Both I only drink during the winter/holiday months. So it depends on where I'm at and what I'm doing whether I want a hot or cold drink. :)

My favorite Christmas beverage is a big cup of cinnamon hot chocolate with a big dollop of whip cream. It is delicious and warming giving me that cozy feeling. I love Hitchcock as I am owned by a beautiful black cat named Romeo Luigi.
