If you've spent any time in Winter Garden, Virginia--and especially at the Down South Cafe--then you know that my mom is my very best friend. Seriously, it's a small town. Everybody knows everything.
My next best friend is my cousin, Jackie. She doesn't have the best relationship with her mom, Renee. I'm sorry about that. But it's one of those things. Actually, Aunt Bess--my great-aunt and Jackie's grandmother--has always been more of a mom to Jackie than Renee, but I'm getting off track.
